Regression testing is a software testing practice that ensures an application still functions as expected after any code changes, updates, or improvements. Regression testing is responsible for the overall stability and functionality of the existing features.
The Black Box Test is a test that only considers the external behavior of the system; the internal workings of the software is not taken into account. The White Box Test is a method used to test a software taking into consideration its internal functioning. It is carried out by testers.
In software development, a beta test is the second phase of software testing in which a sampling of the intended audience tries the product out. Beta is the second letter of the Greek alphabet. Originally, the term alpha test meant the first phase of testing in a software development process.
